Three-time Emmy Award winning editor Ed Kulzer is Senior Editor of Sesame Street. In a post-production career spanning 25 years, providing content in episodic broadcast, short film, commercial & industrial, Ed found a niche in childrens educational programming, with a passion for finding the nexus between technical proficiency, quantifiable educational impact and creating entertaining fun. Bringing Sesame Street to the world requires close coordination along the entire pipeline, from field education research, curriculum and script development, production, coordination with filmmakers, animation, sound design & mixing, editing, QC and delivery. Behind the curtain, media integrity maintaining broadcast specs along every step of development are as vital to the show as a childlike sense of playful fun. Ed is a graduate of masters program in Computer Art at the School of Visual Arts, a member of NATAS, and member & mentor in the Childrens Media Association.
