WARRANTY POLICY

Meze Audio guarantees its products against defects in materials or workmanship for the periods set out below. This is a voluntary commercial guarantee provided by Meze Audio S.R.L., 1-3 Morii Street, 430162 Baia Mare, Maramures, Romania.

1. Coverage Periods
Elite, Empyrean II, Poet, Liric, Astru, Strada, and 109 Pro: two-year warranty, applicable worldwide.

105 SILVA, 105 AER, 99 Series, and Alba:  one year for customers outside the EU; two years EU and EEA or customers.

Extended warranty – My Meze members - Register your product on My Meze and, if your product is eligible and your warranty is still active, you will receive 6 additional months of coverage at no extra cost. This offer is available until December 31, 2026.

Accessories: six months, worldwide.

Note for EU/EEA consumers: Whether accessories are purchased as part of a product bundle or as standalone goods, your statutory warranty rights against the seller remain fully applicable, as detailed in Section 3.

2. General Conditions
During the applicable warranty period, Meze Audio will repair or replace the product or the affected parts at no charge in the event of defects in materials or workmanship. This
commercial guarantee covers repair or replacement only; it does not cover other costs such as shipping or installation. It is separate from and additional to any rights you have against the seller, including your statutory rights, which it does not affect (see Section 3). Some countries may apply additional rules. After the warranty period expires, repair or replacement is the owner's responsibility.


3. Legal Rights (EU and EEA Customers)
For EU and EEA customers, this commercial guarantee is provided in addition to, and does not limit, exclude, suspend or replace your statutory rights. Under EU law, specifically Directive (EU) 2019/771, consumers are entitled, free of charge, to a legal guarantee of conformity of at least two years from the seller for goods that were not in conformity at the time of delivery. You may exercise those rights against the seller from whom you purchased the product, at no cost and regardless of this guarantee, as this policy does not affect them in any way.

4. Distinction Between Accessories and Consumable Parts
* Accessories: items such as cables, carrying cases and pouches, jack adapters and modular add-ons supplied with or sold for the product.
* Consumable or wear parts: items expected to be replaced periodically through normal use, such as earpads, eartips and headband cushions. These are covered by this guarantee only for defects in materials or workmanship present at the time of delivery; they are not covered for normal wear, deterioration or hygiene-related replacement over time. Structural parts: for example the headband frame or arc are not consumables and are covered as part of the product. Nothing in this section limits or excludes the statutory rights described in Section 3.

5. Requirements and Transferability
* Proof of purchase: a valid original proof of purchase is required to make a claim. It may be a receipt or bill of sale from an authorized dealer and must clearly show the product model and the date of purchase.
* Product condition: this guarantee covers brand-new products and products sold as-is, open box, second-hand or as display models, provided the original proof of purchase is supplied.
* Transferability: this guarantee is transferable to a new owner, provided the original proof of purchase is supplied.

6. After a Repair or Replacement
Where a product or part is repaired or replaced under this guarantee, the repaired or replacement item remains covered for the remainder of the original warranty period, or for 180 days from the date of repair or replacement, whichever is longer.

7. Limitations and Exclusions
Meze Audio is not obliged to repair or replace products where the conditions of this guarantee are not met. Some countries may apply additional restrictions on warranty policies. This warranty does NOT cover:
* Cosmetic damage, normal wear and tear, acts of God, accidents, loss of product, misuse, improper use, improper connection, or commercial use.
* Any modifications to the product.
* Purchases from an unauthorized dealer.
* Repairs attempted by anyone other than Meze Audio or an authorized service partner.
* Damage caused by a connected product (for example, an electrical fault of a connected device). Nothing in this section limits or excludes the statutory rights described in Section 3.
