I'm not an audiophile or tech expert, so the reviews that have the charts and Hz breakdowns are kind of wasted on me. I just wanted a pair of headphones that I could use for gaming, movies, work, and music.

I avoided Bluetooth so I could easily switch between devices and not have to pair or charge anything, but cheaper wired headphones were always lacking in sound quality and durability. With my last Bluetooth/wired headset, if you wanted to just use the 3.5mm cable the sound quality was horrible and I had an allergic reaction to the ear cups.

These headphones are perfect. They're extremely comfortable, the adjustable headband is the best I've felt on headphones, and the sound quality is amazing. I love the design, the sturdy frame, and the walnut ear cups.

My only comment is with computer use, you might want to download an app or extension that lets you personalize EQ. The out-of-box sound plugged into a Windows operated computer wasn't enjoyable, but after I got a sound mixing extension I was able to get the most out of these headphones. Again, the sound experts can explain it better, but by making some adjustments I'm really happy with the quality for video games, movies, and any genre of music.

This is the most I've ever spent on headphones but it was completely worth the investment, and the high quality will make it easy to keep these around for years. I'll definitely come back to Meze when I finally do need another set.

Purchased these headphones on a whim based off overall appearance and the fact that they are completely serviceable. They are very comfortable even after hours of listening, these are fantastic sounding headphones driven off my McIntosh preamp. They are very efficient and have an impressive lower octave. I have about ten hours on them so far and I am definitely impressed with them.

As a user of the Meze Rai Solo IEMs, It felt natural to go with the 99 Classics, when I was looking for an overhead headphones in this price range.

I was expecting a balanced sound, with a good stereo image. 99 Classics delivered. The sound stage is almost as good as the Liric, which is amazing for this price range.

I use the Dragonfly Black DAC on-the-go and the PS Audio Stellar Gain Cell DAC at home, easily enough power to make these headphone shine. I recommend an upgraded DAC with these, my iPhone 11 just cannot give them the information and power they need to achieve their full potential (obviously).

Few minor drawbacks are the cable, which is not fully braided with fabric, I will get the upgrade cable in the future, at least to my home setup. For on-the-go listening the microphone cable is fine. My example had some minor paint defects on the headband, but it doesn't affect the sound or the looks. Of course, a closer inspection will show it, but non-the-less.

You GUYS!! Words of mine can simply not describe to you how wonderful these sound. I will say, to fully understand the depth that they can offer, I listened to some really well-made CDs and was absolutely blown away. However, even just listening to spotify on my phone sounded leagues better out of these. I can't say it enough, they are super incredible and exactly what I was looking for in a pair of headphones. Of course, they even look gorgeous. Out of this world.

I really enjoy these pair of headphones. When I hook these up to my amp, they sound even better than my Bose 700 for $100 less. My only complaint is that only after about a month and a half of owning it one of my walnut sides has begun to crack apart. I was able to use glue to keep it from cracking further but other than that I have no complaints! Keep up the good work.
