Oxygen is one of the most common impurities in copper products. For this reason, no gas burners are used during the manufacturing processes and the insides of the equipment are filled with noble gases. Through these methods we have succeeded in controlling oxygen to 5ppm, which is below the standard required for oxygen-free copper.

By combining a molding process that uses no heat-resistant materials with post-processing free from hot extrusion or rolling processes, the product can be mass-produced in a way that excludes inclusions and impurities. It possesses high malleability and drawability that allows processing up to superfine wires.

HAND BRAIDED IN BAIA MARE, ROMANIA

Featuring a proven twisted design, each cable is made of 140 conductors with 0.04mm in diameter, in an eight-wire to four-wire braid configuration. Twisting the wires minimizes the energy of the magnetic fields created by each wire, allowing us to achieve proper noise and signal interference reduction. This technique accomplishes two main objectives: reduces outgoing noise and reduces incoming noise related to electromagnetic interference.

EMPYREAN SILVER PLATED PCUHD UPGRADE CABLES

I have brought the Empyrean Silver Plated cable about one week. Run time is approx. 100 hours and sound quality became stable. Sound is excellent with extra wide soundstage, high resolution and prefect treble, as well as suitable bass and vocals. Greatest improvement was found by using Empyrean Silver Plated cable by compared with the original OFC cable. It is "Must Buy" cable.

This silver plated cable DEFINITELY improve the sound of your meze headphone

I tried listening to both the copper and this silver plated cable and decided to purchase this silver plated one because I can hear the difference in all the songs that I audition it on. The bass is punchier with the extra warmth that you usually get from running the music through a tube amp. I bought a custom-built, pure silver high grade cable from an after market seller and found out that the pure silver cable stripped down the warmth and reduce the soundscape surround sound. Pure silver sharpen the treble and midtone so it is a good cable for classical or jazz listening. But for contemporary pop, electronic, house, rock, and dance music, I would stick with this silver plated cable and be very happy with the sound coming out of the headphone.

Added Extension and Detail to the Music

This is a high-quality after-market-class cable offered by Meze themselves. I have both the Silver-Plated PCUHD Copper cable and PCUHD Copper cable. The packaging, build quality, and flexibility are first-rate! The sound quality is amazing! A little harsh at first, the sound smooths out while adding additional extension and detail to the warmer sound of the copper. If I desire a more analytical listening session, I tend to use the silver-plated cable. Even now I'm finding the sound is still evolving; opening up even more and presenting additional instrument separation and detail with each listening session. One of two excellent cables offered for the Meze Empyreans!
