STRADA

MEDIA REVIEWS

Sonically, the Strada delivers a relaxed and spacious presentation with clean imaging, layered bass, and smooth, fatigue-free highs, making it an excellent companion for long listening sessions and mellow genres.

Overall, the Meze Strada delivers a sound signature that feels mature, confident, and technically accomplished. It’s a clear step up from the 99 Classics V2, offering more space, better control, and higher resolution, while staying true to Meze’s musical DNA.

Strada is remarkably open and clean sounding for a closed-back headphone, with strong separation and spatial characteristics. The overall tuning is well-balanced with a largely neutral delivery of mids and treble, and a low-end that emphasizes the subbass over midbass. The end result is a headphone with a really impressive soundstage, and a natural, lifelike overall sound.

I was immediately hit with bright treble and forward vocals. Singers were right in front of me, and the instruments filtered around them. The soundstage was wider than I anticipated for a closed-back headphone, and it wrapped around the head pretty well to create an immersive experience

If nothing else, I don't think there's a better looking pair of headphones out there – these win my vote on vanity alone! -

Meze Audio has added another looker to its headphone line-up with the launch of the Strada, a new closed-back over-ear model that leans hard into premium materials and a more intimate, enveloping sound.

STRADA feels like a product from a company that knows exactly where it wants to be. Meze isn’t chasing shock value or spec-sheet dominance. Instead, it’s doubling down on thoughtful engineering, comfort, and design longevity—traits that have helped the brand build a loyal global following.

Meze Audio has the ability to present headphones as an expression of design, ritual, feeling. The trick is making engineering feel like craftsmanship, and the Romanian company’s new STRADA is no different.
