As a producer/engineer what struck me first about the 99 Classics was the flat, accurate frequency response. It’s important I’m monitoring my production or mix as true as possible, without any frequencies behind hyped. I really feel the 99 Classics achieved this while keeping the transients super punchy and aggressive, and at the same time feeling great to wear for hours.
