"My first encounter with Meze Audio's headphones was visual: I stumbled upon a photo online and was immediately captivated by their unique design, setting them apart from what I was accustomed to. They boast meticulously crafted details, intriguing materials, and a sophisticated color composition. When I had the privilege of trying them on, courtesy of Meze Audio's generosity, I quickly realized that their appeal wasn't solely derived from a distinctive design that merely 'sells' any type of sound. I found myself genuinely impressed by the expansiveness and precision of the audio, the absence of artificial elements utilized by some manufacturers to inject additional 'flavor' into the end product, and notably, the clarity spanning the entire frequency spectrum—from the lows to the mids and highs—while preserving the authenticity of the original sound. Of course, you needn't solely rely on my assessment; I encourage you to experience them for yourselves. I'm confident that once you do, you'll find yourself in agreement with my sentiments!!!"

Alexandru Andrieș is a multi-talented Romanian musician, composer, performer, lyricist, graphic artist, and architect, renowned for his contributions to the realms of music, poetry, and acting. Born on October 13, 1954, in Brașov, to very kind parents who 'didn't want to spoil his childhood,' they allowed him to choose his path—whether to sing, paint, or pursue both.

He opted for the latter, on the condition of attending a regular school rather than a specialized one. He began schooling in the Tractorul neighborhood where he lived with his parents, then entered the prestigious "Andrei Șaguna" High School (considered the best in Brașov), and later pursued Architecture studies in Bucharest, successfully getting in on his first attempt.

During those years before being admitted to Architecture in 1974, he never imagined that he would end up singing, releasing numerous albums, and performing on stage over 4,000 times. While he used to sing at home, his dream was to pursue painting and graphics.

However, a strange incident completely changed his destiny and shattered his dreams. When he was in kindergarten, he created drawings for an international contest, and those drawings won the first prize worldwide, which included a scholarship to the School of Fine Arts in Paris. Regrettably, the child of a party activist's friend took his place. This event led him to choose Architecture instead.

In 1974, he arrived in Bucharest as a first-year student and, naturally, frequented the famous "Club A," where great stars of folk, pop, and student rock would perform. Encouraged by the club's directors and pushed by friends and colleagues, he performed for the first time in public. Recognizing the audience's appreciation, he continued to perform regularly. His music spans genres from blues, rock-and-roll, and jazz to folk, and his lyrics always narrate a story, whether the theme is political, social, about love, or even divorce.

His concert debut took place in 1979 at the Jazz & Rock Festival in Brașov with the band Basorelief, and in 1984, his first album "Interioare" was released by "Electrecord," standing as one of the most beautiful albums in Romanian pop history. Beyond music, he is a lecturer and holds a doctorate from the "Ion Mincu" Institute of Architecture. He is a member of the Union of Architects of Romania (since 1980), the Union of Writers of Romania (since 1994), the Union of Composers and Musicologists of Romania (since 1994), and the Association of Journalists in Romania.

On December 10, 2004, he was awarded the Order of Cultural Merit in the rank of Knight by the President of Romania, Ion Iliescu. Throughout his career, he has released several critically acclaimed albums, each showcasing his versatility as an artist and earning him a dedicated fan base. Beyond his musical accomplishments, Andrieș ventured into the realm of poetry, where his writings exhibited a profound understanding of the human condition, societal issues, and the power of introspection. His poetry resonated with audiences, further cementing his position as a multifaceted artist of immense talent. In addition to his musical and literary ventures, Alexandru Andrieș made a notable impact in the world of theater and film. His foray into acting demonstrated his versatility and commitment to the craft. His performances on stage and screen were praised for their emotional depth and authenticity, earning him critical acclaim and awards for his contributions to the performing arts. Throughout his illustrious career, Andrieș remained a staunch advocate for artistic freedom and social justice, using his platform to address pertinent issues facing Romanian society.

His activism and artistic endeavors were intertwined, making him a respected and influential figure within and beyond the artistic community. With his warm demeanor and unwavering dedication to his craft, Alexandru Andrieș has left an indelible mark on the cultural landscape of Romania. His legacy continues to inspire aspiring artists and music enthusiasts alike, leaving behind a body of work that will be cherished for generations to come.
